I Am Angry! And Confused! Lightworkers In A Healing Crises...

There was a time when Lightworkers were known as Shamen. Their main function was not the physical, emotional, spiritual or even psycic healing of their brothers and sisters. No, not at all. Their primary concern was upholding the Sacredness of the Community with the Purity of the Earth and balancing all of it's Inhabitants.
Now, lightworkers are just like every other business. They meet to discuss marketing tools and how best to earn a buck. They are interested in the earth and it's purity.. but in a priority scale well below their individual relationships, what new movies are coming out, how their families are doing moment-by-moment and what's for dinner. Reminds me of the end times of Atlantis, huh?
When did Shamen become Lightworkers?
When did we give up our devotion to Gaia and blessing her?
When did we forget our responsibilities to our community?
When did we trade holding the energy for the planet with holding the energy for ourselves and one or two paying clients or friends?
I have heard visions of Birmingham where we all will live in close relationship to the earth, Where touch/healing is a matter of course, rather than the exception. Where healing will take place, not in hospitals but in Sacred Circles. That vision is coming true. Day-by-day, we are moving towards a remembered ideal. And as a "LIGHTWORKER" I ask... what are YOU doing to make it a reality?
Bills must be paid. I understand. Emotional prioities and ties must not be ignored. I understand. Change is slow. I understand. And yet, as one who is in touch with the energies of the world, answer me this: How much time do we have? Or is it too late already?
There are workers who honor the Earth, Humanity and All the Helpers, both human and non-human. Who may have very little money, who may have families in crises, who may be incredibly busy... and yet, they make time. They come together to wield their individual, unique energies with like minded individuals to hold us all as Sacred. To help in the creation of the next paradigm of thought. These I applaud! They move thorough their own physical pain, past emotional traumas, dodging the resistance of the opposition... all for no money. All living up to WHY they incarnated now; Living and Doing and Remembering why they are here.
May the universe bless them beyond all measure. For if we have a habitable planet in the future, it will be because of THEIR light work. Because they remembered what it means to be a Shamen.

Great post. Thanks for sharing your experience. Religion would tell us that we should enjoy the cage and then if we do God would move you to a bigger and better cage :D If we are impatient with the cage then we are unenlightened, relbellious jerks...cheap Zara shoes
